Description: |
Eugenia is a perennial tree with dense bushy crown, when mature
can reach up to 18-20m tall. Its young leaves emerge reddish, turning red-brown then green. Eugenia is a hardy plant, tolerates poor soils, relatively
pest-free. However, it does not tolerate drought. Hence, watering should be
done before the soil is fully dry out. Trimming regularly (practically 2-3 month once depend on the
growth rate of plants) can helps the plants to produce new leaves in the
pruned surfaces. |
