Scientific Name:	*Maranta leuconeura var. erythroneura*
Description:	Maranta leuconeura var. also known as Herringbone Plant, Red-veined prayer plant is a beautiful decorative houseplant. Maranta leconeura is a low-growing plant with oblong-elliptic and truncate apex foliages. Variegation down midrib is light green to yellowish with red veins in fishbone pattern. This plant is commonly used in interiors as hanging baskets or as ground-cover in interiorscapes.

Light:	Bright indirect sunlight, dappled light, tolerance low light.
Water:	Check regularly and water as needed. Keep the soil evenly moist; never allow it to dry out completely. Always discard excess water. Never allow the plant to stand in water. Consider using a water filter, or alternatively leave water out overnight before watering your plant to avoid brown patches or leaf tip browning.
Fertilizer:	Fertilize with diluted foliage fertilizer at least once a month to encourage growth.
Trimming:	Gently trim away dry, brown, or yellowish leaves by using a pair of secateurs.
