Scientific Name:	*Alternanthera brasiliana*
Description:	Alternanthera is perennial ornamental foliage with vibrant purplish-red leaves that tolerant to drought when established. It produced small, white, pompom-shaped flowers in the leaf axils. Cultivated as border, ground cover and container plant. It prefers loamy rich, well-drained soils. Tip-prune to encourage bushy and compact form.
