Information	Description
Scientific Name:	Heliconia nickeriensis
Description:	Heliconia spp is an easy to cultivate plant in our tropical climate. Heliconia x nickeriensis is a hybrid between Heliconia marginata and Heliconia psittacorum. This Heliconia have large, dense clumps of waxy dark green leaves and producing attractive golden yellow bracts, inflorescences.

Overall Plant Height:	1.5-1.8m (Approx.)
Light:	Full Sun to Partial sun
Water:	Check and water as needed. Keep the soil evenly moist; never allow it to dry out completely.
Fertilizer:	Feed with all-purpose growth and flowering fertilizer at least once a month to encourage growth.
Trimming:	Gently trim away dry, brown, or yellowish leaves by using a pair of secateurs. Trimming allows available nutrients in the soil to be transferred into the new leaves which encourage intentional growth. Also, trimming allows your plants to retain in a good shape and keep pests, fungal and diseases away.
