Scientific Name:	*Philodendron birkin*
Description:	Philodendron Birkin is an ornamental shade-loving plant with dark green, heart-shaped leaves which start off green and gradually develop variegation as leaves grow. Brighter filtered sunlight may increase the color contrast. It is a great addition to your houseplant corner, and like most philodendrons, it is pretty easy to take care of.

Overall Plant Height:	25-35cm (Approx.)
Light:	Bright indirect sunlight, dappled light.
Water:	Check regularly and water as needed. Keep the soil evenly moist; never allow it to dry out completely. Always discard excess water. Never allow the plant to stand in water. Consider using a water filter, or alternatively, leave water out overnight before watering your plant to avoid brown patches or leaf tip browning.
Fertilizer:	Fertilize with diluted foliage fertilizer at least once a month to encourage growth.
Trimming:	Gently trim away dry, brown, or yellowish leaves by using a pair of secateurs. Trimming allows available nutrients in the soil to be transferred into the new leaves which encourages intentional growth. Also, trimming allows your plants to retain in a good shape and keep pests, fungal and diseases away.
