Application:
Potted Herbs and Vegetables
1. Use Premium veggie mix straight from the bag.
2. Before repotting, water original pots thoroughly and allow them to drain.
3. Choose a clean pot, bowl or basket with large drainage holes and partly fill it with veggie mix.
4. Carefully knock the plant out of its existing pot and gently remove any damaged or dried roots without breaking up the main root ball.
5. Place the plant in the new pot, checking that it will be at the same level as it was in the old pot, and fill with fresh veggie mix to within 2cm of the rim of the pot.
6. Tap the pot gently to allow the mix to settle down.
7. Water thoroughly and add a little more mix if settling occurs after watering.
8. Allow excess water to drain away freely.
9. Place the plants in a shady area for 2-3 days before moving back to direct sunlight area.
Vegetable and Herbs Beds
1. Add 10 to 15cm layer of Premium Veggie Mix to your garden bed.
2. Thoroughly mix it into the top 20 to 30cm of soil.
3. To create raised beds, add an additional layer of mix to the bed and mix it well. This should raise the bed above the surrounding soil.
4. When setting up a raised vegetable box, use Premium Veggie Mix straight from the bag. Top up as required after each crop has been harvested.
5. Sow seeds or plant seedlings.
6. Water thoroughly everyday after sowing and planting or transplanting frequently to maintain uniform moisture until plants are well established.
