Information	Description
Common name and scientific name	Thai Basil九层塔 (Ocimum basilicum)
Growth habit and size	A vigorous herb that grows up to 30-45cm and 30cm wide.
Foliage, flower color, and texture	The leaves are narrow, dark green with serrated edges. Produces spikes of white and pink-purple flowers on top of the reddish-purple stems.
Pot Size	Ø15cm x H12.5cm
Overall Height	25-35cm from the base of the pot
Sunlight requirements	Performs best in full sun or partial shade area that receive at least 6 hours of sunlight daily.
Watering needs	Require regular and frequent watering especially during a hot day. Water thoroughly when the soil surface becomes dry.
Soil type and pH requirements	Grow best in well-drained, fertile soil. Prefer slightly acidic soil with pH range between 6.5-7.5
Feeding and fertilizer needs	Feed with all-purpose organic fertilizer at least once a month to provide essential nutrients for healthy plant growth. It is also recommended to apply fertilizer after harvesting to rejuvenate the plant.
